A temporary emergency shelter for war refugees from Ukraine is being set up at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center. Together with the City of Nuremberg, with the Social Welfare Office mainly in charge, the necessary infrastructure was created at short notice. Hall 3C had previously proved its worth in its function as the vaccination center of the city of Nuremberg with its good infrastructure, brightness and location in the exhibition center, and so NürnbergMesse is very happy to comply with the request of the city of Nuremberg for immediate assistance and is making it available as temporary emergency accommodation for arriving refugees. Against this backdrop, VIVANESS, International Trade Fair for Natural and Organic Personal Care, will be moving within the exhibition grounds for its one-off Summer Edition from 26 - 29 July.

Danila Brunner, Director Exhibitions VIVANESS and BIOFACH: "By setting up the emergency shelter for refugees from Ukraine, NürnbergMesse is showing its solidarity with Ukraine and its war refugees in the midst of the Russian war of aggression and providing much-needed humanitarian aid. This also means that we are moving together in the truest sense of the word. Not only as people and by expressing our solidarity, but also by VIVANESS finding a new home within the Exhibition Grounds for the Summer Edition from 26-29 July. Given the current state of emergency, we unfortunately cannot yet foresee the impact on our Summer Edition at the end of July and will therefore adjust our trade fair planning accordingly. However, we are firmly convinced that we must take responsibility in the current situation and provide immediate humanitarian aid. Right now we are working at full speed on this new planning and will inform all our customers accordingly at short notice and comprehensively about what this means for them in concrete terms."
