Cupuassu (Theobroma grandiflorum) is native to the Amazon rainforest of Brazil. Its aromatic, delicately sour pulp is rich in Viatmin C, iron, phosphorus and vitamins of the B complex and can be used in many ways, especially for beverages, sweets and desserts. Cupuassu is being grown by the RECA cooperative in agroforestry systems as part of the reforestation projects.
The frozen fruit pulp is supplied in 30 kg packs (or as agreed upon) at -17 ° C.
In freeze-dried form, the pulp can be stored at room temperature.
