Tea is the most widespread beverage in the world, and it is obtained by infusing the leaves of the plant Camellia sinensis. The final brew varies depending on the way in which the tea leaves are processed and on the preparation of the tea. There is a vast variety of species, tastes and colours of teas. The choice in our shop ranges literally from black to white teas, covering all the tea regions of the world.

Black tea – a fully fermented tea which when infused has stimulating effects and a delicious taste. The best-known are Ceylon, Assam, Darjeeling, Yunnan and Pu-erh, to name just a few.

Green tea – is a kind of tea that does not undergo the oxidation process, and keeps all its active substances and green colour. It is refreshing and beneficial to our health. There are a large number of variants of green tea. The best-known include the Japanese Bancha, Sencha and Genmaicha, the Chinese jasmine or gunpowder tea.

Oolong – is a partially oxidized tea somewhere in between black and green teas. The infusion is yellow in colour and it has a characteristic taste. There is a lot to discover all the time.
