The Deortegas family have been farmers for many generations and for the last 30 years have produced entirely organic olives in the traditional non-intensive way. We are based in Yecla (Murcia) where we have two estates of unwatered olives and one irrigated producing four different varieties of olives; Arbequina, Picual, Cornicabra and Hojiblanca.
We have developed and rigorously control all aspects of our oil production. We grow, press, bottle and market our own harvest. The olives are harvested directly from the tree only at the perfect moment of maturity and taken to our oil mill, carefully packed in boxes to prevent any damage. We always cold press the same day to ensure freshness and quality. The results are spectacular. Pure delicious olive oils with intense green and gold shades; well balanced, harmonious and elegant. Deortegas organic extra-virgin olive oil is of the the highest quality in every sense. It is an authentic gourmet experience for the most discerning of palates.
