The Pfabhof was first mentioned in a tax description in the year 1671.
In the year 1900 he fell victim to flames and in the year 2009 the decision was made to resettle, because of the structural change and the dense settlement in Eching.
Since 2011 the Pfabhof had a new face on the northern hill range of Ottenburg in the local community of Eching near Munich.
The family business works according to the guidelines of organic farming. The main concern of the Kurz family is to bring agriculture, especially organic farming, closer to the consumer.
In additon to cereals, grain legumes and grassland, berry fruit is also grown on their farm.
This is how the berry plantation was created in spring 2019, on a field that borders their farm.
Aronia berries and haskap berries were planted.
These two types of berries are ideal for organic fruit growing.
The haskap berry is a real treat, especially if you eat it fresh.
However, wonderful products can also be prepared from both berries, such as jam, juice, vinegar, liqueurs.
These delicatessen items are made exlusively from high qualitty organic ingredients.
The family Kurz loves and lives their organic farming and there will be many new Aronia and Haskap delicacies in the future.
