The energy of our Sun and the passion for nature are what makes us different.
Sole che Sorge was founded in 2002 and focuses mainly on the production of vegetable plants for the wholesale and retail trade. In 2008 the company decided to invest in a new sector and expand its business with the opening of an Oil Mill. The Pieralisi equipment operates on a continuous cycle, has a potentiality of 6,000 kilograms/h and works with cold extraction. The oil is preserved in silos at a controlled temperature and under nitrogen, in order to maintain its organoleptic and chemical properties unchanged over time
The raw materials of our products grow under the Sun, in the nature, next to the sea and on a wonderful land. The pleasant climate of our beloved Sicily is the secret ingredient of our work.
Our 100%-Italian oil derives from carefully selected olives, which are pressed within 24 hours after harvesting. Our varieties, like Cerasuola, Nocellara and Biancolilla, are typical of western Sicily. With the same care with which we select the olives for the conventional oil, we also select the olives for the organic extra virgin olive oil “L’Aurora”.
