History of the Company:
Antico Frantoio was founded in 2000 in Sambuca di Sicilia. From the meeting between Antonella, of Sardinian origin, and Salvatore, Sicilian, takes shape the new activity that reconciles the passion for the land and for genuine products. During the first years they devote themselves exclusively to the production of extra virgin olive oil extracted from olives of their own lands and those of the Sambucese territory which is particularly suited to agricultural production. Thanks to the cold extraction and the quality of the olives, the final result is an extra virgin olive oil with acidity 0.3 deriving from a blend of native cultivars: Nocellara del Belice and Biancolilla.
Eleven years later the production of olive oil is accompanied by the production of wine through the creation of a winery using the most innovative winemaking techniques, from the soft press to the winemakers and tanks all strictly temperature controlled. The Antico Frantoio, always sensitive to environmental causes, uses solar panels for the production of energy needed for machinery and produces a line of oil and organic wines.
Antico Frantoio produces extra virgin olive oil with different packaging: 25cl, 50cl and 75cl bottles; 3 and 5 lt cans. It also offers an organic and conventional line.
