LLC Caucasan
WILD. NATURAL. SUSTAINABLE.
For more than 20 years, Caucasan has been collecting, processing, and exporting some of Georgia's most distinctive and flavorful wild-harvested fruits, berries, and herbs, to buyers around the world.
DISTINCTIVE. FLAVORFUL.
We source all of our agricultural products from environmentally responsible collectors operating throughout Georgia. Once delivered to our centrally located facilities in Kharagauli, harvests are meticulously cleaned and sorted, ensuring all of the naturally occurring flavors and healthful benefits are fully preserved throughout both drying and/or freezing processes.
While our biggest sellers are Licorice Root, Bay Leaf, and Porcini Mushrooms, companies operating within culinary, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries have found a wide range of applications for all of our wild-harvested, organic, and conventional products.
Recognizing the intrinsic benefits of frozen foods, we also offer wild-harvested fruits, berries, and herbs in frozen formats, including the newest addition to our line: Freeze Tea. For the uninitiated, Frozen Tea is a new, surprisingly delicious, and nutritionally rich way for enthusiasts to make and enjoy tea.
RESPONSIBLE. SUSTAINABLE.
Caucasan has been engaged in the collection, processing, and export of medicinal and culinary herbs, teas, wild berries, and fruits since 1995. Headquartered in Kharagauli, one of the most productive growing regions in Georgia, we were the first to obtain FairWild certification in the Caucasus.
We actively pursue and maintain sustainable and organic production practices. Sourcing from environmentally responsible farmers operating in pristine growing regions throughout Georgia, along with an increasing number of farmers who have obtained organic certification, our company has grown, increasing exports to markets around the world including the Middle East, EU and Southeast Asia.
We also take great pride in the employment we bring to outlying agricultural regions where opportunities tend to be limited. In addition, working in partnership with local educational institutions, students are given access to vocational opportunities, learning about, and gaining hands-on experience with, premium quality agricultural products.
