RENJER – The Natural Alternative for Health-conscious Snackers.
Our wild jerky is both low in fat and sugar and consists solely of meat from sustainable hunting and natural ingredients to spice it up. Thereby we give the traditional Nordic dried meat a modern twist.
Our product family consists of three delicious kinds of Game Jerky, Reindeer, Elk and Red Deer. One crucial part of our focus is that 100% of our raw materials origin from sustainable hunting in Europe. Thereby we can produce a product which is not only eco-friendly but also ideal from health-conscious urban snack fans. Our meat delicacies are extra high in protein, low in fat, sugar free as well as rich in vitamins and necessary omega fatty acids, which is a result of the animals' natural lifestyle in the wilderness. RENJER is the ideal snack in a cosy atmosphere with friends, when you are discovering nature or travelling the world. Regardless of where you are, RENJER is packed with energy, ready to eat and fits every situation. Through their extraordinary high protein content our jerkies are also perfectly suitable as post-workout snacks.
We are Alex from Austria, Tim from Germany and Anton from Finland. Together we are the founders of RENJER, a dynamic European team that has made it their mission to revolutionise snacking. We met each other at the Lund University in Southern Sweden where we studied Entrepreneurship and Innovation together. Our skills are very diverse. While Tim has studied business and completed a dual degree in taxation at the German tax office, Anton has studied business administration and taught himself great skills in e-commerce. Alex, who also came to Lund with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, has apart from that eight years previous experience in as a sales manager and trainer. Furthermore, we all have gained a solid knowledge in production and logistics in the food industry during our entrepreneurial operations.
Since the company was founded in April 2017, RENJER has seen strong growth. After first sales in 2017 it grew with roughly 800% the year after. In January 2019 we had the pleasure to star in the German start-up show “Die Höhle der Löwen”, which was aired in September the same year. Thus, much of our time and resources was spent on preparation for this event.
In five years RENJER will be known Europe-wide as the snack brand for sustainable meat snacking. We will do everything to make this vision real.
Today we are looking for innovative distributors and retailers, who understand our products and want to sell them to customers who appreciate high-quality, sustainable and delicious food.
