SALTWELL is extracted from an underground sea below the Atacama desert in South America. The salt water in the underground sea has a special chemical composition and is pumped up to the surface and collected in ponds / salinas. The salt is dried in the blazing sun which causes the water in the ponds to evaporate. When the salt is dried and crystallized, each grain of salt contains 65% sodium chloride and 30% potassium chloride + 5% minerals.
Saltwell is easy to use and works well in all types of food. It can be used with excellent results in e.g. sausages, meat and chicken dishes, baking or as regular table salt. Saltwell also works well in soups, sauces and spice blends.
Switching to Saltwell is easy – an equal ratio (1:1) will produce the same taste and results as ordinary salt. Always of a consistently high quality.
