The Marchesi Company, result of an entrepreneurial experience born in 1958, is present in the international market since 2001 with its preparations based on precooked semolina. Our recipes include not only the use of all the flours obtained by milling cereals, but also from raw materials of other plant origin, such as non-cereals and legumes.
The Marchesi plant, located in the plain of Bologna, is situated on an area of about 4000 m²; the production area is equipped with modern automatic equipment, characterized by high technology, which allows the processing of selected raw materials, reducing operator / product contact to a minimum.
Through this production system we obtain products of high and recognized quality, reflecting the dedication of our Master Pasta Makers and the strict compliance with the current regulations in every stage of the production cycle.
WE DO IT BETTER
Flours from organic or conventional farming, whole and refined ones, thanks to the knowledge and experience gained by our Research and Development team and the versatility of our equipment, they give rise to a multiple variety of products.
In addition to the traditional durum wheat products, through wise mixing of different flours, we have obtained innovative, high quality products characterized by significantly varied nutrient profiles and specific nutritional functions, such as couscous made with spelt and quinoa, lentils and chickpeas, corn and rice, and bulgur made from spelt and sorghum, and many other proposals.
Our "Ars Operandi" allows us to develop products also on specific customers’ requirement, thanks to dedicated recipes designed specifically to meet their needs.
