“Paline” fermented tea leaves is the premium product of Yathar Wathi Company. “Paline” in Myanmar mean a basket made of rattan or bamboo for collecting tea leaves. “Paline” is the first organic (both EU and NOP) fermented tea product from Myanmar. The Company has been in fermented tea leaves business for more than 40 years. The Company nowadays is run by second generation.. The company is managing all supply chains-from the field to final products. There is company owned tea farm and contracted tea farmed in Southern Shan State, Myanmar. The company contributes knowledge and technology for tea farmers. Yathar Wathi Company invested in organic tea production committing environmental and social responsibility. The company won “Pride of Myanmar award” from CHML supermarket chain in Myanmar. At the moment, the company is collaborating with 150 tea farmers from Ywar Ngan Township in Myanmar for organic tea production.
