Carbohydrates, proteins and fatty acids are essential energy sources for sportsmen and women. We have chosen carbohydrate sources with a low insulin impact in the recipes, such as oat flakes, barley flour, quinoa, buckwheat and, for a positive protein intake, we have integrated in a balanced way proteins of vegetable origin from cereals or from seeds such as hemp, pumpkin and pea. Plant-based fatty acids have been selected: sunflower, corn, coconut and olive to guarantee an important energy reserve, especially in situations of prolonged aerobic physical activity.
