Our more than 160 years old company history dates back to the year 1852. Rudolf Englert, company founder and former chef of the Berlin luxury hotel Kempinski at Kurfuerstendamm laid the foundation for a successful and long-standing family business. Already at that time, he specialized in the product portfolio of exclusively high-quality specialties, which are cooked according to selected traditional recipes.
Meanwhile, our medium - sized, family - run business is in the 4th generation. Following our company tradition, we strive to produce high - quality organic specialties based on classic craftsmanship principles. Our products stand out clearly from industrial mass production. We only use real ingredients like fresh vegetables, herbs and spices, as well as our traditionally cooked broth as base.
The balancing act between tradition and modernity is of the highest priority for us: as we swear by our proven recipes, we constantly develop product innovations and new recipes: discover, for example, our traditionally cooked organic bone broth, bone broth to drink or the latest invigorating vegetable smoothies with superfoods and awakening effect!
The base of all soups and sauces is a base stock/ a bone broth. In contrast to industrial manufacturers, this is traditionally cooked, meaning that we produce the bone broth just as top chefs in starred restaurants would do. Ingredients such as fish, meat, bones or vegetables, refined with herbs and spices, simmer for more than 24 hours. Then our chefs degrease and clarify the broth. The result is a powerful broth that serves as the perfect base for our products. Thus, we do not need flavor enhancers, additives or preservatives, but cook exclusively with real and fresh ingredients.
Filled and carefully preserved in sustainable and attractive glasses in various sizes, our products are a unique taste experience that more than lives up to the demands of organic consumers both at the product level and at the packaging level.
