The Biedermann dairy is based in Bischofszell in the canton of Thurgau. The Biedermann dairy has been an organic dairy since its inception, being the first dairy in Switzerland to acquire a licence to process organic milk in 1989. The Biedermann dairy processes regional milk from cows, sheep and goats and also distinguishes itself as a specialist for lactose-free products. Since 2016 it has also been producing vegan product lines based on coconut milk, almond milk, cashew nuts and lupins and currently offers over 30 vegan milk alternatives. The Biedermann dairy lives sustainability in its production with an environmentally friendly woodchip heating system, the continuous further development of its product packaging and the products themselves. The Biedermann dairy products are sold in Switzerland and throughout Europe via wholesalers and specialist organic retailers.
