Since 2005 part of the Probios group, Il Nutrimento is a producer company that since 1990 has been processing organic vegetables, prepared and seasoned with care to give life to traditional Italian products, with a method that combines tradition to technology, to preserve its nutritional and organoleptic quality.
Certified by the Italian Vegetarian Association for the absence of animal origin products in recipes, Il Nutrimento produces pasta sauces, pestos, vegetable paté, flavored oils and fruit and vegetable juices, many of which are gluten-free and included in the Italian Coeliac Association handbook.
The company also develops private label products on behalf of a third party, using mainly raw materials grown in Italy, ensuring a short supply chain, a reduced environmental impact and the promotion of Italian organic agriculture.
Since October 2016, the production of the branded products has been moved from the Probios headquarters in Cremosano (CR) to a modern factory of 1750 m2 in Calenzano (FI). Together with the parent company, Il Nutrimento is today one of the largest organic reference point in Italy, an important and cutting-edge project that can boast a real short supply chain: farming, processing and marketing are for a large part of Tuscan products.
In 2019, Il Nutrimento has reached three new certifications:
- IFS Food Standard: the compliance of all references of the range with the unified standards of quality assurance;
- BRC Global Standard for Food Safety: the company's ongoing commitment to safety, quality and compliance with the rules governing the agri-food sector;
- UNI EN ISO 9001:2015: the company's correspondence with the standard which determines the requirements of the management system for the quality of the organization.
