Dark Chocolate 85% Madagascar, Grand CRu Sambirano. In the north of Madagascar, the Lazan'ny company Sambirano cooperative developed in 2001 out of a farmers movement of 300 small producers. They want to leverage their terroir and know-how in processing cocoa beans. Their collective success lies in exporting their cocoa beans themselves and avoiding the big local collectors. This rare an d typical cocoa of the Sambirano valley introduces subtile citrus aromas without any bitter notes.
