Here we are − the heart of Apulia, between the hills of Palo del Colle and Turi, in a wedge of land and vibrant nature facing the East and the Mediterranean. San Domenico − the name of our farm, a solid reality, the result of care and attention of generations living among these olive groves, which today we keep on wholeheartedly devoting ourselves to, supported by the pace of the seasons, the warmth of the sun and the rain.
There’s a small step only from the lands to the olive mill of Turi. The olive processing takes place within a very short time too, within 12 hours from harvesting – which is why olives have an even more strong smell and their freshness is preserved giving the oil an even better flavour.
The olive grove dedicated to the organic oil production is characterised by coratina and oliarola cultivars. The right balance between these cultivar qualities gives life to a perfect blend product –the typical coratina fruity scent, the richest in polyphenols and antioxidant properties, and the oliarola harmonious sweet scent. An extra virgin olive oil that pleasantly produce a tingling sensation, with components that mix together, giving an harmonious taste.
