Organic Standard was founded in 2007 to become the first local inspection and certification body for organic production in Ukraine. By receiving accreditation of the IOAS against Standards ISO Guide 17065 in 2009, Organic Standard has taken up a position as internationally known inspection and certification body. Up to now, it has been the only Ukrainian organic certification body recognized by the European Union and Switzerland.
Organic Standard provides its inspection and certification services to more than 400 organic operators in Ukraine, which represent approximately 75% of all organic operators in the country. Moreover, the company controls a meaningful and growing number of operators in Belarus and Kazakhstan.
As most of its clients are aimed at the international market, Organic Standard has become an important player of certification services for the export. In 2017, Ukrainian clients of the company exported altogether more than 180 000 tons of organic products. At the same time, Organic Standard helps the national producers to develop the local market.

For more than 10 years company has been striving to guarantee the high quality of its services, building on reliable control of organic operators through the mobility and professionalism of its staff. Currently, Organic Standard is a member of the European Organic Certifiers Council (EOCC) and the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM).
