Rose Eclat is a dynamic fruit and vegetable drying company managed by a group of young professionals and dedicated workers who are 90% women and led by Madame Rosemonde Toure/Barry, the founder of the business. Now almost 20 years in business the values of family, working respect for our local supplier groups, respect for our employees and quality processing have not changed since the early days. What has changed is our development of capacity and quality management in a process of continuous improvement through which we achieved organic certification through Eco Cert and are now embarked on a HACCP programme.
Our core business is the drying of fruit and vegetables from our country, Burkina Faso. Quality, organic dried mango remains the flagship product of the company but we offer a diverse range of products such as banana, papaya, pineapple, strawberry…and vegetables such as tomato, onion and okra. Originally our process was equipped with Attesta dryers commissioned under the supervision of technicians from Centre Écologique Albert Schweitzer (CEAS) and we have now added modern drying tunnels enhancing our capacity to dry fruit and vegetables. The next step in our innovation is the quality management system certification based on HACCP and then we will seek to increase our drying capacity to meet our customers’ requirements.
Our supply chain is guaranteed by supply from our own orchards and from strong relationships with supplier groups. This allows us to offer a quality, traceable product based on the finest raw material from Burkina Faso, the largest producer of organic certified dried mango in the World.
If you are looking for a reliable partner for quality dried fruits to grow a business together with respect for the environment and the people of Burkina Faso come and see us at Biofach 2017.
