In 1998, the founder headed out with the idea to find a suitable brand name for the delicious, vegan and organic ice cream, based on premium nut butters, which he was developing at that time.
The ice bear was the obvious symbol for ice cream. To symbolize the purely vegetable base of the ice cream and the love for nature, the ice bear holds a little flower in his paw. Our brand name Eisblümerl was established.
Eis = ice / Blümerl = little flower.
Although in those days, sustainable agriculture and organic food stuffs were still a small niche, the organic pioneers placed right from the beginning high importance in the use of premium raw materials from certified ecologic cultivation, own recipes and a careful, artisan production. And this has been valid ever since.
Eisblümerl has developed into a specialist producer of premium quality nut creations in many delicious variations.
We have remained faithful to our initial commitment to the ecological production of premium food stuffs with special attention to the nutritional requirements resulting from food intolerances.
