foodloose is a young company from Hamburg. The two founders Katharina Staudacher and Verena Ballhaus Riegler have made it their task to supply the snack market with healthier alternatives. Under the slogan "It's natural. It's love. "A range of natural biosnacks is marketed. The foodloose products (Nussriegel and SMU: DIs) can be bought in about 2,800 organic shops, supermarkets, health food stores, drug stores, cafés, hotels and canteens as well as in their own online shop. Foodloose has already received several awards: Gold Biomarker of the Year 2014, Best New Product 2013 and Best New Product 2014 (Nussriegel Poetry Amelie). Within the context of the Anuga fair, the SMU: DI variety spinach / mint was voted Top Innovation of the year 2015.
The crunchy organic nut bars consist exclusively of nuts, exotic dried fruits as well as exciting spices. In contrast to conventional granola bars, they contain no inferior fillers. Good nutrients and dietary fibers ensure a long-lasting repletion and fill the energy depots. The foodloose bars are inspired by personal travel experiences and memories: from the world's best curry in India (Delhi Delight), crispy cranberries from California with cocoa (Frisco Crisp) or sour cherries pilfered from neighbor´s garden (Garden Gusto).
SMU: DI bars:
Ingredients such as spinach, carrots or limes, which are actually only known from smoothie recipes are combined to a SMU:DI in a bar. In contrast to smoothies from the supermarket shelf the ingredients of the SMU:DI bars however are not UHT, but carefully dried and raw. They are full of all important vitamins and minerals. The fruity-delicious taste experiences on the basis of dates pick up the most important nutrition trends: Superfoods such as Moringa, chia seeds, Baobab or Acerola are valuable suppliers of vitamins. In addition, the bars are vegan, Paleo suitable and without added sugar.
