Naturally grown straw (rye)
Is organically farmed and obtainable in various customary lengths (15cm, 20cm and 23cm) as well as in different packages and trade units to fit both the needs of small Bio-retail stores, large industry and gastronomy /food service.
Rye grain cultivation and manufacturing of the straw are done domestically and indulgent further processing maintains the special characteristics of the raw straw thus generating the BIO-STRAW – the alternative to the common plastic straw.
Our Bio-Straws are:
100% natural and biological, neutral in taste, allergy-free and vegan, nearly 100% CO2-free, hygienic and dimensionally stable, eco-friendly and sustainable, handmade, Made in Germany.
And also the packing/wrapping is manufactured from renewable raw materials: PLA-Polymer-foil from lactic acid and/or recycled paper.
