Our “classic”: wild coffee from the home of all Coffea Arabica which compels by its unusual taste and its intense aroma. Available in three different roasting levels – Mild, Medium and Espresso – as whole bean or ground coffee.
Soil conditions and altitude, precipitation levels and sun-exposure: all these factors influence the growth of the wild Coffea Arabica bush and its coffee beans' taste and aroma.
A winegrower speaks of ”terroir“ when describing the fact that closely neighbouring forest areas bring forth wild coffees with their own particular and distinct flavour. Some taste fruity, others spicy, yet others light and flowery. Each being absolutely unique!
Each wild bush bears only a few coffee cherries which means that the aroma concentrated in each bean is incomparable and distinct from the taste of conventionally planted and harvested coffee.
In annual tastings we determine the perfect roasting degree for each provenience and we then decide on the ideal composition of various proveniences for each blend (i.e. Mild, Medium, and Espresso).
