Montelia S.A. is a family owned and operated farming and exporting Ecuadorian company specialized in Chia Seeds. With more than 40 years in the agriculture and export field we decided to engage in this project back in 2007. We produce Organic Certified Black and White Chia Seeds. We also produce other Certified Organic grains such as beans, pop-corn, amaranth, sesame, quinoa (under development stage) among others that serve as rotation crops for our fields.
We have also developed multiple Chia based ingredients under all the international food safety standards. We follow HACCP and GMP practices that are required to secure a hazard free supply chain securing the food safety and sanitation of our ingredients. This gives food and nutraceuticals manufacturers the chance to formulate with our ingredients with the confidence that they are using raw materials that will never compromise their finished products.

All of our ingredients are processed under Organic Certified Standards.
Food safety, and quality is very important to us and for this reason we strive to constantly work on scaling up our capabilities and keep up with food safety certifications. We have a US FDA inspected and HACCP certified facility where we process all of our products. We count with USDA NOP, EU, JAS, and other Organic norms to fulfill all of our customer’s needs.
