Le Erbe dello Chef Bio was born from the desire to take a step back to the future, made of enviromentally sustainable agriculture, to come back to develop in harmony with the environment and to be the guardian of the precious resources that nature gives us each day aware that is, both for us and the biggest innovation challenge. The country side used to cultivate horticultural organic aromatic herbs is unpollted, extending over an area of about 22 hectares. The land follows the undeveloped coastlineof the Adriatic Sea and it is situated into the heart of a nature park of Dune of Torre Canne and Torre San Leonardo, that is a protect zone to preserve Mediterranean life and wildlife. It is in such a wonderful natural framework, with ist warm and sunny weather and the smell of the sea breeze meeting the natural essences of junipers, myrtles, wild olives and thyme where our herbs grow and fully express their organoleptic and sensory properties. our plants are completely grown in the open, and in full compliance with the standards for organic farmic. Our first step is the identification of local ecotypes and varieties that best suit our soil and climatic conditions; we follow eco-friendly agronomic and phytosanitary pratices, in order to preserve and improve soil fertility, to ensure a rational use of water resources and protect the fauna which is helpful for the natural control of parasites. This is how our company is able to meet the new needs of customers who are more and more aware and careful about environmental protection.
