TLR provides an extensive range of analyses of finished goods and raw materials for the food & feed industry. Our modern lab is equipped with the latest technology and is located in the ARAG region (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp & Ghent), two factors which enable us to offer rapid processing times and help you save money. We also perform independent sampling and surveying through our related activities such as PETERSON and/or CONTROL UNION. In addition, our consultancy department is on hand to deal with all quality issues.
TLR is GMP+ and QS certified, ISO 17025 accredited and has FOSFA and GAFTA approval, making our reports internationally recognised.
A wide range of analyses is offered by TLR. Basic chemical testing is used to determine nutritional values such as protein and moisture. We also carry out more complex analyses to test for contamination such as pesticides, dioxins and melamine. Last but not least, we perform classic microbiological methods such as plate counts (yeasts and moulds) as well as modern PCR techniques for pathogenic bacteria such as Salmonella, EHEC and E. Coli O157.
We test for foreign materials, damaged grain and poisonous seeds. Our portfolio also includes DNA analyses such as PCR screening for GMO testing or allergen testing. TLR analyses dioxins & dioxin-like PCBs in feed conforming to the NEN-EN 16215 and EU Regulation 278/2012. In oils, fats and eggs dioxins & dioxin-like PCBs are analysed according to EU Regulation 252/2012.
