Zabler-Nudeln owes its unrivalled taste to the producers’ persistence in using only the highest quality ingredients. Even as a baker, Bernhard Zabler started to sell his hand-made pasta of exceptional quality as early as 1929 in his newly opened bakery, in the town of Mingolsheim in Baden. Bernhard Zabler seized his chance – as the opportunity arose – as one of the pioneers during the economic boom in Germany. In 1948, he established the first Zabler pasta factory.
In 1964, we decided to go beyond the product range which we had previously been produced at Zabler and to develop a quite unique pasta speciality under the name of Hochzeit Nudeln. We were able to quickly convince the food market with this new brand and the corresponding advertising made it a household name.
In 1970 Bernard Zabler’s son, Hans-Bernd Zabler, took over the management of the firm and successfully continued the work of his father. Due to his efforts, Hochzeit Nudeln has become one of the leading premium pasta brands in Germany.
Under the management of Hans-Bernd Zabler, Hochzeit Nudeln managed to achieve its national distribution in all renowned German commercial enterprises. The original location at the Mingolsheimer factory quickly became too small. Therefore, in 1978 the current Zabler plant in Bruchsal was built.
In 2007, Hans-Bernd Zabler decided to put his carefully thought-out plan into action. This was to put his new brand Paradiso Bio onto the market. Made by controlled ecological production it was to be sold alongside the premium quality Hochzeit Nudeln. Even after a short time, this brand was exceptionally well received on the market.
