Right from the beginning, the question of the products’ degradability is not only a major issue, but also the origin and quality of the raw materials. For example, the first soaps were developed from organic vegetable oils that are the basis of many products. The philosophy of thinking in cycles is behind all of our actions and is something which SODASAN adheres to consistently. This also includes ensuring that the entire production is climate-neutral, in cooperation with Prima Klima e.V, Cleaner electricity without atomic power is purchased from Greenpeace Energy. Meanwhile a complete, high-performance range of washing and cleaning agents meets the needs of demanding people. Additional products such as room fragrances, liquid soaps and sauna fragrances complete the product range.
In Uplengen in East Frisia, the products are developed and produced on an area of 4,000 m2 and then are distributed in many countries within Europe and worldwide. That makes consumers and employees happy, especially for the environment.
We use organically grown vegetable materials and meet the strict Ecocert guidelines. In addition to this, our products bear the Ecogarantie® seal, which guarantees the highest environmental standards.
All laundry detergents, cleansers and dishwashing liquids that might come into contact with the skin are dermatologically tested. We do not use any enzymes, any ingredients from organic chlorine-based chemistry and any synthetic perfumes.
We feel obliged to sustainable and responsible production. For example, we use 100% nuclear-free electricity from Greenpeace energy and maintain a neutral CO2 balance by financing afforestation projects around the world.
