Tartu Fruit and Vegetable Factory, which started operating in 1946 developed into one of the largest food-canning enterprises in Estonia – Salvest Ltd.
Our mission is to make the lives of consumers easier and offer enjoyably flavourful experience. The company´s aim is to maintain a high consumption culture, excellent quality of its products and the confidence of consumers. Therefore we always prefer domestic and fresh raw ingredients, which we buy from the domestic fruit and meat manufacturers, who are located within 100 km of our processing facilities.
Salvest's range includes 190 different products - from pickles to soups, from jams to baby food. We introduce new flavours and develop new products each season. This year we launched a totally new category – supersmoothies.
Salvest's new organic supersmoothies are creamy, full of flavours and made of best organic ingredients. Smushies come in a convenient squeezable pouch that is easy to open and consume on the go. Smushies are enriched with vitamins and superfood elements and produced from pure fruit purees, not from concentrates. They do not contain any added sugar, artificial colouring, flavouring or preservatives.
Salvest has been making baby food since 1966. Today we are the baby food market leader in Estonia. All our baby food products are without added sugar or salt, preservatives, without additives and from strictly controlled raw material. For us, it is important to use as many locally-manufactured raw materials as possible – in vegetable dishes, we have used Estonian meat, potatoes, carrots and beetroot, and the new porridges contain Estonian milk and rapeseed oil. “Põnn” baby food has been prepared in cooperation with well-known Estonian paediatrician Reet Raukas.
