In 1994, in the heart of “Val di Non”, the Italian valley known for its apples, borns Lucia Maria Melchiori, a family-run business leader in the transformation of selected high quality apples in juice, apple cider vinegar and apple balsamic. Since the beginning, the company's goal, was to produce natural products, mainly organic, obtained by local raw materials and by renewable energy. Time to time the doors of the Cellar were opened to the production of Apple Cider, a sparkling Apple Spumante obtained from whole Italian apples. The typical high-quality and local raw materials and the Charmat method make the Italian Cider an unique product. To the classic Cider were added Apple, Elderflower and Mint Cider, Apple and Blueberry Cider, Apple and Ginger Cider. From 5% to 12% vol., Cider is perfect as an aperitif, throughout the meal and with desserts. In 2013 the desire to innovate pushed Matteo, owner’s son, to add to the company a Craft MicroBrewery in which are produced different styles of unfiltered beer: from hell to weizen, from blanche to the pale ale and then apple beer and seasonal beers.
The Company pay a lot of attention to the environment. This has pushed the company to:
adopt a modern photovoltaic system to produce in harmony with nature using the solar power
use apple waste for the production of biogas
use the heat generated during the acidification process to keep our offices worm during the cold months
Even today, at the height of its development, the company retains a human dimension. Melchiori's family, strongly linked to the territory and to the original values, gives to each product its ancient and proven expertise.
