Finca Loranque is a family winery located in the municipality of Bargas, province of Toledo, very close to Madrid. Its historical origin dates from the s. XVIII of the hand of the illustrious Count of Floridablanca who with the purpose of erecting a winery in which to elaborate quality wines chooses Finca Loranque, seduced by the characteristics of its terroir.
It will not be until 1981 that the activity in the winery will be resumed, thus recovering the winemaking tradition of the place.
The property extends over 500 hectares, of which 42 are vineyards of the varieties Tempranillo, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
Finca Loranque is characterized by the untiring pursuit of the highest quality of its wines, an objective that is achieved thanks to the meticulous care of the vineyard, carrying out practices such as green pruning and green harvesting; And the predominantly manual character of the process. It is noteworthy to mention that all the wine produced is made from grapes grown on the property, all of them harvested and selected exhaustively by hand.
All the wines carry out a fermentation at controlled temperature for around twenty-five days and an aging of a minimum of 12 months in French oak barrels.
