The company is the result of a partnership between two entrepreneurs, one from France and one from Madagascar, who launched Fruits of Madagascar in 2011. The company is located in the Northern part of Madagascar, on the small island of Nosy Be and is specialized in frozen tropical fruits transformation.
The company developed a channeled supply network with the best producers of the Northern-West region of Madagascar. Fruits of Madagascar, as a company, is concerned by the development of the local agriculture and by the creation of numerous indirect jobs, and works under the scrupulous respect of fair trade practices. In order to professionalize the channel and to offer a technical training, the company also develops its own plantations (pineapple and passion fruit).
The plant can produce until 2000 tons/annum of finished products and works under IFS certification.
