Urcohuasi Farms is a family owned farm, located in the heart of the Ecuadorian highlands. Beautifully surrounded by an ancient pine tree forest with majestic views over the Cayambe volcano, is where we grow our quinoa.
Since the early nineteenth century our family has been devoted to agriculture and farming. From vegetables to grains we have always carried our heritage and traditional processes with us. However, we are constantly evolving along with technical and scientific advances, to provide quality products and increase the environmental sustainability.

Our quinoa is grown in the purest of soil, handled with the utmost care and is gently processed in order to preserve its nutritional elements including the high protein values, amino acids and antioxidants.
Besides harvesting our own quinoa, we have created a network of small and medium sized farmers in the vicinity of the farm. Together we are seeding & harvesting the fields, as well as using our combined size to improve production, transportation and create long term sustainability.
