•Production of Organic Vegetable oils and essential oils
By means of modern technologies in farming and industrial processing, our company is continuously aiming to provide the highest quality of herbs and oils to our Industrial customers. Being convinced by a “wonderful future in an organic word”, HERBIOTECH AROMA team is always taking a great pleasure in providing our partners with the healthiest ingredients from Tunisia.
Our plant is located in the northwestern part of Tunisia; in a town called BOUARADA situated about 75 km from the capital Tunis. This town which is attractively surrounded by wild rosemary and pine forests is also known for its vast agricultural lands and the “Chetoui” olive tree fields which are ensuring a big part of our supply.
Our organic farm for herbs production is situated in an inner region in KAIROUAN, where the climate conditions are very favorable for medicinal and aromatic herbs cultivation. This farm secures about 80% of our raw material supply.
For administrative purposes, our offices are situated in Tunis very close to Rades Port and Tunis Carthage airport.
In Kairouan the company is managing a land of 133 ha certified organic since 2012 by Ecocert, currently in the process of Biodynamic conversion. The main farming operations of seeds harvest, sowing, hoeing, weeding and harvesting of fresh herbs are mechanically operated by specialized machinery. For special crops, weeding and some other operation are done manually thanks to our workers, all native of this region, who provide our project with a formidable force.
We pay a considerable attention to water and irrigation. The major part is drip-irrigated for a safe utilization of ground water resources. Sprinkler irrigation is only performed during cold periods of the year.
Cultivation is fully integrated in our production process and continually supervised in all the different phases by our engineers according to weekly planning and daily records for full treatability. Our customers are always invited to visit our farm in order to give their appreciations and critics. International experts mandated by us or by our customers are always solicited for a continuous improvement of our practices and final products.
All the routine analysis of soil, water and plant … are carried out by renowned European laboratories.
Organic Dried Herbs:
In 2014, we equipped our plant with one of the most modern computer-controlled drying system for a total annual working capacity of 5000 tons of fresh material. Freshly harvested herbs are rapidly treated in order to preserve the maximum of taste and smell through an efficient gentle drying. Dehydration physical parameters are finely controlled in order to keep the highest content in essential oils and active molecules.
Several pre and post drying unit operations like washing, cleaning, threshing, sifting… are also performed within a continuous production line for pre-cleaning and final refinement.
Organic Vegetable oils:
In a separated area, our plant is also equipped with a modern biphasic olive oil mill, for the production of high polyphenol content Extra-Virgin Olive oil. This system ensures low working temperatures during the extraction process without any water addition.
Our factory is also equipped with Screw-presses for the production of high quality cold pressed seed oils.
Oils are exclusively purified by successive sedimentation steps and settled in stainless steel tanks without any filtration.
Organic Essential oils:
HERBIOTECH AROMA is also managing a distillation Unit for the production of organic essential oils from wild raw material collected from the neighboring forests or harvested from our land.

Chetoui ist die zweite Haupt Vielzahl von Oliven in Tunesien, und unsere Certified Organic Chetoui Olivenöl ungefiltertes Öl ist stark an Polyphenolen konzentriert, von früh geerntete grüne Oliven direkt bei 20 ° C gepresst hergestellt.
Herkunft : Tunesien
Harvesting: Unser Bio-Oliven angebaut werden zu erwartenden Erntezeit zwischen dem 15. Oktober und 15. Dezember geerntet. Die in dieser Zeit gesammelten Steinfrüchte enthalten die größte Konzentration in polyhenols und Antioxidantien.
Geschmack und Aroma: Chétoui extra-natives Olivenöl stellt höhere Fruchtigkeit, Bitterkeit und Schärfe als andere Olivenöle. Öle auf einer antizipieren Ernte-date produziert präsentieren eine hervorragende sensorische Profil, hocharomatischer Harmonie begleitet von den höchstmöglichen ernährungsphysiologischen Eigenschaften. Diese gesunde Öl präsentiert angenehmen sekundären Aromen von Gras, Tomaten und Artischocken.
Eigenschaften: Sehr niedrige Säurewert (0,18 bis 0,22), Hoch polyhenols Gehalt (von 600 bis 900 mg pro kg), begrenzte Produktion für diesen hohen Wert Öl.
