The Company was formed by five partners in the year 1998 . (They make up the Governing Council) in order to carry out a project compatible with the conservation of the environment and aimed at making available to the consumer a quality product naturally, starting from cultivation, production, processing, packaging and marketing.
In 1999 it took place an expansion of partners going to be incorporated into the project 42 new partners, who previously must register with the Andalusian Committee of Ecological Agriculture (CAAE) as this imperative Control Agency and Quality Certification requirement to form part of the Cooperative, entering at the same time in the Designation of Origin Sierra Mágina.
On 24 September 1999 the construction of the mill and start packing machine , finishing them on 13 January 2000, date on which the first entry of olive occurs, started its activity in part because part partner at that time had finished the harvest season, so start putting into practice the project.
In 2001 another new partners occurs , setting the current number of partners and hectares.
The base of the crop is located within the Designation of Origin Sierra Mágina, in and the Natural Park in the municipality of Cambil, Arbuniel, Huelma, Pegalajar, Carchelejo, Belmez, Cabra de Santo Cristo and La Guardia mainly being Olives for the most ancient part and nestled in mountain areas between the elevation 650 and 1500 meters altitude , this area belongs to the province of Jaen on the border with the province of Granada, where it is carried out immemorial monoculture traditional olive as the main base of the economy in rural areas time.
